Clint Liddy on the mic

We had a short conversation with Clint Liddy, one of the two speakers at the Protest Cable Call. Clint, what do you think of the past two days?It was very well organised. Protest did an outstanding job putting an event like this together. The level of the riders was crazy, the conditions were good, there was a great crowd, working with Lorenzo which is always fun... it was really good! Too bad the sun only showed up at the end of the weekend, haha. See you next year? For sure! I'm already looking forward to it.

More words with Mike McComb

We spoke again with Mike McComb, head judge at the WWA. This time we spoke some more about the Cable Call.So Mike, again, what do you think of the event? The event was really good. I like how well organised the whole event was. The music, the party, it all contributes to the right atmosphere. It's professional, yet creates a good atmosphere that fits the wakeboard lifestyle. You've been doing this work for eighteen years and counting. What developments do you see in the wakeboard scene? We used to have no obstacles, haha! That's a development for sure. The skill level is is also growing and growing, wakeboarding is a young sport and you see it progressing every year. Tricks get more technical all the time, just like other sports like snowboarding or freestyle motorcross. You'll get the picture. We're now heading to Amsterdam with a lot of boarders to have a great time, so see you later!
