Contest
The riders will be divided into four categories: Pro men, pro women, open men and pro wakeskate. Qualifications will be held Saturday, finals will be ridden at Sunday. An exact schedule for each day can be found here.
The riders will be judged by very experienced judges who have been judging wakeboardevents for quite a while. The boys and girls from the WWA will be there to determine the epicness of the tricks. They base their final scores on the following elements:
- Kickers (all tricks done off the kickers in the course) account for 15%
- Flat tricks (all tricks done on water only) account for 25%
- Rails (all tricks done on the variety of obstacles in the course) account for 20%
- Composition (the entire run) accounts for 40%
These four different categories will each be rated by different judges with a score from 1 to 10. To come up with this score, the judges will be using the D.R.I.V.E. principle: Difficulty, Risk in the run, Intensity, Variety and Execution.
